Another blasting project completed! Number 3 for the season. We completed this one back in early August. Maintenance was long past due. Existing stain was showing many signs of failure. The old stain was applied over the chinking making the chinking discolored and orange.

We blasted, stained and applied new chinking. We applied Sashco Log Homes Capture stain with Cascade Clear Coat and Log Jam chinking. We will be back in a few years to do a maintenance application of Cascade. One of the best this about Cascade, it can be applied right over the top of the chinking without discoloring the chinking making it so easy to maintain the beautiful contrast of the stain and chinking!

Finally getting around to posting this restoration project we did earlier this summer in Teton Valley. Years of lack of maintenance had to be undone to bring this one back to life and I would say we successfully did so! Media blasted, changed rotten logs, applied new stain and new chinking. Sashco Log Homes products proudly used to give this old cabin new life!

Please don’t contact me if you’re not willing to work 60 hours a week consistently or if you are not bilingual.

Looking for someone to help manage projects, crews and perform labor alongside crews to help move projects along. This is a hybrid management/labor position. Schedule is 7am to 7pm. This is our busy season. We have to make hay while the sun shines.

Responsibilities

* Lead crews on log home restoration, staining, painting, and finishing projects
* Plan daily work and keep projects on schedule
* Maintain high-quality workmanship and attention to detail
* Communicate with homeowners and project managers professionally
* Ensure all safety procedures are followed
* Manage job site organization, materials, and equipment
* Solve problems and make sound decisions in the field
* Purchase and deliver materials to job sites

Qualifications

* Bilingual, English and Spanish
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
* Ability to read project scopes and keep jobs on schedule
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
* Ability to drive a truck towing a trailer or equipment

Pay will increase to $25 an hour after you complete your 4 week training period. We do have work year round.
