Swap the plastic for plants. Coral bells in pumpkin-orange, deep purple, and glowing lime give you Halloween color all fall. 🎃

Smooth hydrangea pruning guide (Annabelle, Flowerfull) ✂️

Young plants (under 3-4 years): Skip the hard cutback. In late winter, remove dead stems and spent flowers, cutting just above a leaf bud. Leaving the structural stems intact helps the plant focus its energy on building a strong root system.

Established plants: Cut back to about 12-24 inches. Cutting lower, down to 6-8 inches, gives you fewer, larger blooms. Leaving more height gives you more, smaller blooms.

Timing: We prune ours in the fall, but at home it's best to trim in late winter to early spring, before new growth starts. 🌿
