Progress is quickly being made out at the future Meadowood Pointe in Savage. This independent living senior community will be connected to The Meadows Senior Living - you can see in the last photo that the columns for the 2nd floor skyway are already up! Thanks to North Shore Contractors again for the incredible drone photography!

Some of our team returned to the Heights, a Habitat for Humanity development in St. Paul. We spent time waterproofing window framing, installing doors, and dismantling scaffolding to help move a few homes closer to completion! We always love volunteering for this wonderful nonprofit. 👷🛠️

Yesterday evening we had the pleasure of joining Enclave to celebrate the official ribbon cutting for Velwood Residences in the 50th and France neighborhood. The 47 luxury apartments join one of the premiere dining, shopping, and entertainment districts in the area. Designing a project from concept to completion is always such a rewarding experience. Congratulations to Enclave and everyone who played a role in bringing this incredible community to life.

Construction is well underway at Amira in Corcoran! This stunning lakeside community was designed with the site in mind. Overlooking Cook Lake, the building was thoughtfully positioned to invite natural light and frame the water views throughout. Residents will enjoy an array of premium amenities including a fitness center, sauna, art studio, library, and more. All designed to inspire connection, comfort, and an active lifestyle!

"How can architects, planners, developers, and policymakers design for spontaneity? How can we nourish places so people discover new friends and abilities?" Those are the questions this author set out to investigate. This interesting article discusses the challenges, successes, and the importance of these types of informal gathering spaces in our urbanizing world. As architects and designers, we take seriously the responsibility of our impact on the built environment and strive to create positive experiences both within and around our buildings.

Yes, but it requires patience, dedication, and cooperation among communities, businesses, regulators, and local governments.

Last week we had the pleasure of visiting Bridgewater Bank's Lake Elmo branch six months after opening. We talked with the staff about how the space is functioning for them and their clients. The insights we gain from these post-occupancy visits are invaluable and help us continue to grow and improve with every project. Bridgewater Bank is as beloved by the community as they are by us!
