Hammerton Lighting

Hammerton Lighting Extraordinary Decorative Lighting in Artisan Glass & Metalwork.

Hammerton lighting combines old-world artisan techniques with modern design and manufacturing capabilities. Our products are not only unique and beautifully crafted but also perfectly proportioned and meticulously built to meet customer requirements and architectural specifications. Founded in 1992 by two young Utah residents, the company began as a humble iron fabrication shop tucked away in a Salt Lake City garage. The founders quickly established a foothold in the lighting industry by designing and building custom luxury fixtures. Renowned for bold design, uncompromising craftsmanship, and meticulous attention to detail, Hammerton products rival the highest quality fixtures built in the U.S. Today, Hammerton is headquartered in a company-owned, 50,000 sf facility that houses all of the design, fabrication, and sales operations.

Inspired by the Bonneville Salt Flats.

Each piece of glass in the Bonneville Collection is kiln-fused in a mold our artisans hand-carve in-house, so every edge comes out a little uneven and every surface catches the light differently, just like the real salt crust.

Choose from round and linear configurations and nine metallic finishes, all lit by a new light bar system that illuminates every layer of glass.

Introducing the Bonneville Collection.

Inspired by the surreal landscape of the Bonneville Salt Flats in our own backyard.

First created as a 30-foot custom installation for the Salt Lake City International Airport, its sculptural form made such an impression that we brought it to a smaller scale for homes.

Kiln-fused glass is cut, heat-formed in a custom mold, and hand-carved by our artisans—capturing the shifting contours and otherworldly beauty of the salt flats.

The Bonneville Collection. A piece of Utah, reimagined in light.

A constellation of glass, suspended beneath the stars 💫

In Park City, Utah, designer Kimberly Parker Design imagined a custom chandelier that would transform a 20-foot stairwell beneath an oculus skylight in her ‘Falling Stars’ project by Upwall Design Architects .

Hammerton helped to bring that vision to life with 25 individually crafted pieces of glass, each shaped and positioned specifically for the home. Together, they create an installation that feels weightless, dynamic, and celestial.

A custom lighting moment designed to make you look up.
