A new task chair is not just a chair.

It's a signal.

It tells your team: we thought about you sitting here for eight hours a day, and we decided that mattered.

You don't need a full renovation.
You need intention.
And a place to start.

Your breakroom is either building your culture or quietly burning it down. And you probably haven't touched it
since you moved in. Read ON.

The breakroom isn't a perk. It's where your culture actually lives. Here's why the most overlooked room in your office is the most important one, and what to do about it.

We are adding something special to our forward vision and mission at SALT Studio -> The SALT Collective. Here's the idea behind SALT Collective - and why we think it's not only special, but different. Most shared spaces are transactional. You pay for a desk. You get Wi-Fi and a mailing address. The person next to you is a stranger who happens to need a place to work. That's not what we're building. SALT Collective is built on a simple belief: when the right people are in the same room, interesting things happen. Referrals flow. Collaborations form. Projects close. Ideas get better. Everyone grows. So we're not filling desks. We're curating a room. Every person in the Collective is chosen because of what they bring to everyone else, not just what they need for themselves. It's inclusive in the truest sense. Everyone has a seat at the table. Everyone contributes. Everyone benefits. We act together as one. For the greater good of all. Every morning your team walks through that door and makes a decision you never see. Not a conscious one — a felt one. Is this a place worth showing up for? The most expensive space you’ll ever have is the one your people stopped caring about.

Disengagement has an address. Is it yours?

We just published a blog that gets into all of it — the research, the real cost of getting it wrong, and what intentional space design actually looks like for growing companies. Because your workplace isn’t where your culture lives. It’s where your culture is decided.

Read it at the link below. And if it makes you look around your office differently — good. That’s exactly the point.

Let's explore. Not in Utah, no problem - service nationwide.

Your office is already communicating your values to every person who walks in. The question is whether it's saying the right thing and what happens to your business when it does.

What does SALT Studio actually do? Great question.

We're a full-service commercial furniture and interior design firm — and we do a lot more than pick out chairs.

We start with your brand, your people, and where you're headed. Then we design the space that gets you there — space planning, furniture curation, procurement, and full installation. From 10 workstations to a multi-floor headquarters.

Utah rooted. Nationwide ready.

If you have a space that needs intention, or a move coming up and no idea where to start, we want to be in that conversation early.

The first consultation is on us. 👉 salt.studio

Here's something we think about every day at SALT Studio:

Every morning your team walks through the door and makes a decision you never see. Not a conscious one — a felt one.

Is this a place worth showing up for?

Your space answers that question before anyone opens their mouth. That's not a furniture problem. That's a culture problem. A people problem. And it's exactly what we're built to solve.

Your workplace isn't where culture lives. It's where culture is decided.

We'd love to start a conversation about yours. Link in bio. www.salt.studio

Big news is coming. ✨

SALT Studio has new ownership, new leadership, and a renewed vision, and we couldn’t be more excited to share what’s next.

Nearly 18 years in the commercial furniture and interior design industry built something real. And now, under new ownership, we’re building something even better, a vision that goes beyond the transaction. A great space isn’t just about how it looks. It’s about what it does for your people, your culture, and your business. That’s not the industry talking. That’s us.

We’re entering a new chapter with one mission: design the spaces where growing companies keep their best people.

Stay tuned. More coming very soon.
