CM Closet Design is an independent, woman-owned custom storage studio based in San Antonio, Texas. We design and install custom closets, pantries, home offices, laundry rooms, Murphy beds, and other thoughtfully designed storage solutions that bring beauty, function, and organization to everyday living. We collaborate with homeowners, interior designers, builders, and professional organizers to create personalized spaces that reflect each client's lifestyle. Every project is guided by intentional design, quality craftsmanship, and attention to detail—from the initial consultation through installation. Founder Carlissa Montoya brings more than 30 years of experience in leadership, visual merchandising, sales, and design. After a successful career in retail, she transitioned into the custom storage industry, where she developed her expertise with California Closets and helped launch the Inspired Closets San Antonio market before founding CM Closet Design. Beyond serving clients, Carlissa is a respected voice in the custom storage industry. She has served in leadership roles with ASID and the Association of Closet & Storage Professionals (ACSP), is an active member of the Closet Institute of America, and founded Closet Darling Collective, a community that supports and connects women across the industry.
