A lot happens before construction even begins.

From selecting the right architect to coordinating surveys, working through designs, and developing plans, the pre-construction process can take 6–8 months.

At C.H. Anderson Construction, we come in early as pre-construction consultants to help homeowners assemble the right team and navigate each step of the process.

Because a successful build starts long before breaking ground.

Demo day at our Riviera Beach project!

Before the heavy equipment rolled in, we let the homeowners and their kids have a little fun with the house. Broken windows, spray paint, and all.

Now it’s time to bring in the tractors and make way for what’s next.

A lot happens before a project ever breaks ground.

We sat down with local architect Kris Graham Studio Graham | Custom Homes to talk through the due diligence that happens before design even begins. Building codes, setbacks, height limits, zoning, HOA requirements, Coastal Commission and more all play a role in determining what’s actually possible on a property.

For this Riviera District project, doing that homework early gave us the green light to move forward with confidence.

We’ve worked with Kris on several projects over the years and always appreciate having great local partners on the team.
