Welcome to the team, Jesus "Sauce" Saucedo Gomez!

We're proud to have Jesus join HomeFree through the SkillBridge program as he transitions from the Navy. A Navy SeaBee with 20 years of service, he has worked as an Engineering Aid, Builder, and Advanced Underwater Construction Technician. He has led large crews, managed millions of dollars in equipment, and mentored more than 200 fellow sailors. That background speaks for itself when it comes to discipline, leadership, and precision.

Jesus is a builder through and through. His hands-on experience spans concrete, masonry, structural framing, and quality control, and he's currently pursuing his Civil Engineering degree at San Diego State. He's exactly the kind of technical talent we look for at HomeFree.

About Jesus:

Hometown: San Diego, CA

Service: 20 years in the US Navy as a SeaBee 🇺🇸

Skills: Concrete, masonry, structural framing, materials testing, surveying, and project leadership.

Off-duty: Gardening, bonsai growing, and taking trips with the family.

Jesus holds himself and his work to the highest standards, and we're thrilled to have him on the team.

Please welcome, Jesus!

Servicing an entire rental property portfolio in a single week is about having a structured and repeatable system. ⏱️📊

This week, our team is executing a portfolio-wide maintenance sweep across a large multi-unit residential footprint. We’re inspecting, servicing, and documenting every door—catching hidden liabilities before they turn into expensive emergencies, and delivering reporting that helps operators track, document, and streamline safety and maintenance services across their entire portfolio

Why Residential Operators & Property Managers Partner With Us:

✅ Speed & Efficiency: In-house, veteran-led teams that execute structured sweeps without causing friction for your tenants or team.

✅ Customer Portal & Reports: After each service appointment, we provide a detailed service report with photo documentation, notes, and recommendations.

✅ Full Service Support: Maintenance Plan customers receive 15% off general services/repairs that arise throughout the year.

✅ Total Flexibility: Plans can be adjusted or canceled at any time.

We’re helping operators shift from reactive fires to proactive protection across San Diego, Orange County, Long Beach, and Los Angeles by building custom plans suited to every portfolio.

Behind the scenes at K**I! 🎬🎥

Had an incredible time sitting down with Good Business San Diego to talk about what we’re building at HomeFree and how our veteran-powered teams are changing the way people think about maintenance and repairs for their homes and properties.

Thank you to all of San Diego and for the support as we continue to scale this mission. We’re just getting started. 🚀

Time kills lease deals.

How many commercial leases stall because of a simple technical question? "What’s the HVAC tonnage?" "Is there 400-amp service?" "Can this space accommodate our plumbing requirements?"

Most commercial vacancies suffer from an information gap. The moment a tenant moves out, the technical "source of truth" often goes with them. If your leasing team has to search for answers while a prospect is waiting, you’re losing momentum.

That’s why, today, we’re officially launching Commercial Vacancy Reports (CVR)—a standardized technical audit designed to bridge the gap between lease expiration and new occupancy.

Stop relying on outdated as-builts and anecdotal data. We provide the field-verified intelligence you need to manage your assets with precision:

✅ Verified Site Specs: Direct field audits of all major systems to ensure your asset records are 100% accurate.

✅ Standardized Reports: Professional, broker-ready profiles that serve as a technical "source of truth" to qualify potential tenants faster.

✅ Centralized Asset Intelligence: A single digital repository that organizes your asset data in one place.

Powered by Veterans: All of our teams are composed exclusively of military veterans, trained through our internal program to bring military-grade precision to your asset data. 🇺🇸

One site visit. Total asset clarity.

Asset Managers, Property Managers, and Leasing Brokers: Ready to see how Commercial Vacancy Reports can accelerate your leasing velocity?

HomeFree ➡️ Racing to the top, not the bottom 🏃‍♂️📈

In San Diego, you can always find a lower bidder, a "shortcut," or some random guy on an app (like this one) who might or might not show up—and almost certainly won’t be around when you need him next.

Home services, in a lot of ways, is a race to the bottom. But that’s not what we’re building here.

We built HomeFree for a specific type of person: The one who values their time, their family's security, and their home’s long-term value. We’re for the people who realize that a $500 maintenance plan is cheaper than $15,000 in deferred maintenance down the road.

And the peace of mind and security you get from working with HomeFree and supporting veteran careers is worth even more.

Of course, that means we’re not for everyone. And we’re okay with that.

We don't do "shortcuts." We lead with technical precision, veteran discipline, and frictionless service. If you believe your home deserves a higher standard, we should talk. 🥂
