“Metallic Chic” at The San Francisco Fall Show🪞This year we teamed up with my dear friend Lisa Staprans on the fabulous jewelry stand for Tamsen Z by Ann Ziff ✨

From conception to creation, we had just over a month to bring these wisteria-inspired gilded reliefs to life, layering aluminum leaves glazed over molding paste to create an antique silver sculpture effect. The result is quite impressive! Stop by to take a closer look ;)

Future home office, but make it a secret garden.🦋Painted blooms from wall to wall, with hidden butterflies and ladybugs to find. Every stroke and color was carefully chosen and meaningful to our client.

Excited to have our work featured on House Beautiful thanks to Jay Jeffers who restored this century old Italian Renaissance-styled Bay Area residence into “deeply personal home that feels both historic and completely alive.”

More specifically, our work included the painting the green cabinet with the portrait of the family’s beloved dog Otis, the blue strie finish in the study and the outside front door columns and molding details that were treated to look like old stone.

Another ambitious commission for the studio: a private library ceiling in Sausalito, inspired by the dome at the 🏛️

Bringing that level of visual effect into a home takes patience and precision: layer after layer, every shadow and light point is considered, with the mathematical precision required to create a true dome illusion on a flat surface.
