Here's a question for my handy friends

I took a job to repair a soft spot in the floor of an addition that was built under 2 years ago. There are no water lines part of the house, and there's no evidence of water entering the house via the roof or siding, everything's put together the way it should be however, there is a giant water stain middle of the room that had been there long enough to rot through the subfloor and rot the floor joist underneath. Is a 2-year-old build. How on Earth does water make its way to the middle of a room without any obvious entry point and do this amount of damage that quick? My only thought is the original builder must have had the subfloor down before the roof was on and it rained and then they immediately put vinyl down over the water and it just sat there and rotted. I'm looking for some outside opinions. I've got an opened up and drying out and I'm waiting for it to rain in the next couple of days so I can see if it gets wet again.

Half way through my day, my boots gave out. Tried taping them, no luck..So I worked six hours barefoot.

Just a friendly reminder that as of March 1st of this year all homes being built in Kentucky will need inspections as per the new law. This fall I plan on offering pre-building inspections Bank inspections and safety inspections!

I've encountered my first huge hiccup with this contract. The owner of this business has bought a pair of touchless automatic car washes, and the building I'm installing them in is no joke.. 4 inches too short. The past three months of prep has been in vain. I don't know what to do

Customer: can you look at our vacuum as well? it seems to be shorting out or something..I'd say so.
