SOLD!! If you have followed my story on the Featherweight table journey, I actually sold my first 2 FW tables to the 2 ladies (sisters) who suggested that I start making them in the first place, at the Lakeview Quilt show in Alvin TX. Thank you Sharon, and to your sister.
These tables were first designed by Jane Ogborn, who I have corresponded with several times. She is the great granddaughter of Gustov Stickley. He was a renowend furniture manufacturer and designer that was a major influencer in the American Arts and Crafts movement in the late 1800's to the mid 1900's.
Jane had a Featherweight and neede a table, so she made one. Then she started making some for her friends that had Featherweights. Then the Featherweight Shop asked if she would sell templates to them, then I was told by Sharon and her sister about the tables, and the rest is history.
Anyway, I will have more FW tables, quilt ladders, quilt hangers and much more I am working on for the Quilt Guild of Greater Houston show in January and the West Houston Quilter's Guild show in February 2027. Message me or PM me if you have any questions and I hope to see you in 2027, if not sooner.

Some pics of the Cherry Arts and Crafts Knock Down Singer Featherweight Table I just finished. It is very easy to set up in your sewing area or to carry to your next retreat. These tables are great space savers and fit both the 221's and 222's. Each table comes with a carrying case with wheels for easy travel. Dimensions are 28-3/4" high x 36" wide x 18" deep at the table top, 20" deep at the feet, which stick our slightly from the top.

Here is a picture Kathy sent me of a beautiful quilt hanging in one of the quilt hangers that I made. I feel honored that something so pretty is coupled with something I made. Thanks Kathy.

Hello to all my quilting friends that I have met at Quilt shows the last few years. A lot of you already have at least one of my handmade hardwood products, and some of you have several of the things that I have made. I take that as a compliment and I am very thankful for all of you for that.
A lot of what I make comes from suggestions from the quilting part of my family, or from customers. Last year (I think at the Brazos Bluebonnet Quilt Guild show in Bryan TX), Kay and I had a customer show me a picture of a portable sewing table template that fits the Singer Featherweight 221 & 222 sewing machines. She told me I needed to start making some of them because a lot of quilters love their Featherweights. The research began that day. Now Kay and I two, 221s and they are impressive machines.
After the 4 Quilt shows Kay and I have had the pleasure of participating in as vendors in 2026, I finally got around to making my first table. Attached are some of the pictures of that table. I plan on making more for sale during the 2027 shows we will be attending. This one is Mahogany and I will be making some in black Walnut and Oak. All natural, no stain, just beautiful wood and three coats of a water based topcoat for a silky smooth finish. This is a long note so I will save the rest of the Featherweight story and pics of how the table breaks down for another post. Let me know what you think please.

To all the Coastal Prarie Quilt Guild members and Stafford TX show volunteers:
THANK YOU.
What a great group and a well organized show. Beautiful quilts, great vendors, very nice venue, an abundance of snacks and waters, Chick-fil-A on site, and lots of visitors. To all who purchased something from Paw Paws Wood Treasures, please send me a picture of your product and how you are using it. We would love to see it.
Thanks again.

Had a great first day and a sort of family reunion at the Woodlands Quilt Guild Show in Conroe today. My sister Susan and niece Marcie showed up. Really good size crowds, great vendor rep Sara, some awesome vendors, and very helpful guild members made it great. Thank you to all for a cool first day and ready for day 2
