Deep beneath the earth, where fire flows like rivers and the screams of the forgotten echo through the darkness, something ancient has awakened.

Once a mighty warrior, now a twisted abomination of flesh, teeth, and tentacles, he feeds on anything foolish enough to cross his path.

His wounds never heal, his hunger never fades, and the monstrous mouth in his belly whispers for its next meal.

Armed with a blade forged in hellfire, he rises from the depths to claim another victim.

They call him the Devourer… and he is always hungry.

Had a great time at armorcon. Decided to enter this guy into the show. First 1/9 “human” bust I’ve ever painted. For this piece, I wanted to create a realistic, battle-worn soldier rather than a perfectly clean uniform. I started by building the uniform from muted khaki and earth tones, gradually layering lighter colors over the raised areas while keeping deeper browns in the folds, seams, pockets, and underneath the equipment. Subtle variation around the eyes and face was used to create a tired, weathered appearance that fit the character.
Not too shabby if I say for 5 hours of bench time

THE CANDY AISLE HAS HAD ENOUGH.

Apparently “just one piece” was a threat. 💀🍭

We’ve got a gummy bear with anger issues, a lollipop that chose violence, chocolate that DEFINITELY melted down emotionally, pumpkins with zero holiday spirit, and a gingerbread man who has seen some things.

And somehow… this is still a balanced D&D encounter. 🎲

Which one are you fighting first?
