A little before the big reveal.

The final room is always the result of a hundred thoughtful decisions: the texture of a fabric, the curve of a chair, the warmth of a wood finish, the way light settles in at the end of the day.

Each layer has a role to play. Together, they create a home that feels considered, personal, and ready to be lived in.

The best part of design work? It’s never just one thing.

For our team, it’s the creative problem-solving, the relationships built along the way, the thrill of a detail coming together, and helping clients feel more at home in the spaces they love.

Swipe to meet the team and see what each of us loves most about bringing a home’s next chapter to life.

In the Superior Queen Anne dining room, we wanted to strike the sweet spot between “historic architectural gem” and “actual room where people eat dinner.” The furnishings, lighting, and materials were layered to complement the home’s original architecture without turning the space into a museum.

Framed drawings of the house add a personal nod to its history, while the statement light fixture does what a statement light fixture should do: make itself known. It highlights one of the home’s defining Frank Lloyd Wright elements and anchors the room beautifully. The rest was about layering in pieces with enough personality to keep things interesting, because respecting the architecture doesn’t mean everything needs to take itself so seriously.

The kitchen at The Edgewood House was designed to feel more like a natural continuation of the home’s original architecture.

A deep green tile field brings a quiet richness to the room, while the veined stone counters and hand-finished wood introduce softness, movement, and a lived-in quality. A generous central island anchors the space - built for everyday rituals, from morning coffee to dinner in the making.

A thoughtful update, rooted in what was already there.

Introducing The Edgewood House. A renovation rooted in the belief that the most enduring updates feel as though they have always belonged.

Set within an architecturally significant early twentieth-century home, this project reimagines the kitchen and two bathrooms through the lens of the home’s original character. Rich walnut cabinetry, hand-glazed tile, natural stone, and unlacquered brass bring warmth, craftsmanship, and a graceful sense of age to each space.

Rather than replicate the past, we looked to the home’s existing millwork, proportions, and material palette as our guide, creating rooms that honor its legacy while supporting the way this family lives today.

The Superior Project ✨

A Frank Lloyd Wright house comes with a pretty strong personality. Our job was less about changing it and more about figuring out how to make room for this family.

The first floor needed a rethink, from the living and dining rooms to the everyday spaces that do the heavy lifting of family life. We reshaped layouts, refined the furnishings and lighting, and layered in pattern and collected pieces to make the rooms feel more personal and more livable.

The fun part was finding the balance. The original millwork and architectural details were never going anywhere, nor should they. Instead, we took our cues from them—repeating shapes, echoing proportions, and choosing materials that feel right for the house without making it feel like a time capsule.

The result is a home that still feels unmistakably Wright, but now feels unmistakably theirs, too. Collected rather than overly decorated, considered without feeling precious, and ready for real family life.

Because even a house with this much architectural pedigree should still know how to relax.
