🐿️ 🌻 October is lovely in the garden. There is still so much activity to observe: critters are stocking up, the occasional bee stops by, hardy flowers are setting new blooms, and the foliage is radiant.

What is your favorite thing about fall in the garden?

The fall sunflowers have plenty of pollen to offer, and this ‘lil bee was getting its fill. 🐝 🌻

I’m so excited to have my original pressed floral greeting cards available at Big Whale Consignment - including the first ever prints of my floral Blue Jay and Holiday Cardinal cards!

There are SO many talented artists on display at Big Whale in North Seattle. Truly something for everyone. (Jimothy art, anyone?!)
I hope you check them out if you haven’t already.

This year I have original pressed flower cards and, for the first time, prints featuring an original holiday Cardinal portrait ♥️♥️

Hi! 👋 I’m a pressed flower artist in Seattle. I grow and press all of the flowers I use to create floral cards and portraits, mostly bird portraits, although I’m still trying to master the floral hummingbird. 🐦

🌹🌹A cardinal feathered by florals.
Maple leaves, pansies, bee balm, and fuchsia brought the dazzling bird to life.
