This one won an award. And looking at it, it’s easy to see why.
This Mercer Island residence — known as the Avalon Park project — is one of our most recognized builds. The curved fiber-cement panel entry, clear cedar soffit with recessed lighting, cedar battens, and that yellow door against the blue-green facade is Northwest modern architecture executed without compromise.
The curved entry panel alone required precise planning and installation — wrapping fiber-cement cleanly around a curve while maintaining consistent reveals and clean transitions to the flat panel sections above.
Award-winning exterior work isn’t just about design. It’s about the craftsmanship required to execute it correctly.
