Design starts with our clients passion.

Here is a unique example of how we custom-fabricated a guitar display around a homeowner’s passion for strings and music.

The display safely holds up to six guitars, which are individually lit up by dimmable light strips built into the interior of the stained oak cabinets. From start to finish, the client was involved to ensure the final output was exactly what was envisioned.

Update from our 1950s Paul Kirk Home restoration in Seward Park: Windows are up.

Original mid-century homes were built with a craft that holds up, but window technology has come a long way since the 1950s. These new windows are designed to properly insulate and weatherproof the home for decades to come, keeping the profile true to Kirk’s original design while making sure the envelope of the house performs the way it should today.

We can’t let good things go to waste. Sustainability is more than using earth-conscious materials, it also is being mindful about the demolition process and ensuring old materials get a new a life.

Plum is kickstarting a new remodel project, and updating this home includes replacing existing items with new ones. We contacted Earthwise Salvage to help us save some of the windows, cabinets, doors and more items that can be repurposed and give them a new life.

Stay tuned to follow along this project!

People love a seamless transition from the interior to the exterior of their home. Outdoor spaces done well extend the way you use your home. A lot of thought and work goes into a well-built deck, which starts long before the boards go down.

Here’s a look at our team at work across a few different deck builds, each one shaped around the home it belongs to.

A few months ago this hallway didn't exist. Built as part of a second story addition to a Central District home, it's now the connector that makes the rest of the added space work.

Designed and constructed by Plum Projects to give a growing family the space their home needed.
