What a great Friday! We took the whole crew to GameTime Fun Park for go-karts and mini golf - followed it up with a Whitecaps game. So many smiles all day long - we love our farm family!

Spring is planting season. These little seedlings will be all grown up in 7-10 years!

How do we dig trees? After tagging and tying, Heriberto uses a spade to carefully dig the tree out of the ground. Once the tree is placed in a burlap-lined metal basket, it’s secured and ready to ship to the landscape market.

Digging season is in full swing! Before we can dig the trees for the landscape market, they all get tied up into a pretty package. The Dutchman Industries Tyer takes away the need to tie by hand!

We could not be more pleased to announce that our longtime friend and employee, Heriberto, is officially a US citizen!! We are so proud of his accomplishments. (The judge who swore him in was the same judge who swore in our other friend and employee, Raul, 15 years ago!)

Those trees look familiar. Jack, Bryan and Donovan went out with two drones to preventative spray.

Thank you for this incredible honor!

Today I introduced a resolution on the House floor to recognize Korson’s Tree Farms of Montcalm County for being selected to provide the 2025 White House Christmas Tree. Their family‑run farm earned this honor after winning the National Christmas Tree Association’s Grand Champion title, a reflection of years of dedication, tradition, and excellence in Michigan agriculture. It has been forty‑one years since a Michigan‑grown tree stood at the White House and this recognition highlights the strength and quality of Michigan’s growers as the Korson family helps bring Christmas spirit to our nation’s capital.

The tree in all its glory! So excited to see it decorated and adorning the Blue Room.

The last few days have been a whirlwind. The First Lady was incredibly sweet and cordial to our family. Once we get a quick chance to take a breath, the pictures will all be posted! Thanks so much for all the kind words and support. I love seeing our little town in Michigan featured all over the country!
