Originally a lawn with a few plantings, this backyard secret garden was designed with the idea to create a unique and artistic landscape filled with destinations, special moments, curves, lots of color, pollinators and so much more! Our team worked to design and install a really unique and special garden and we love seeing the full transformation take place.

Features of this beautiful artistic garden include a stone labyrinth, a custom wood frame and swing, custom built cedar pergola, unique curved stone sitting walls, special placements of our favorite native plantings, a fish pond, wood log playground and so much more!

We are very proud of this garden and love all the features and special moments within this space 🌿

About four years ago we designed and installed this beautiful landscape in Silver Spring MD! Originally mostly lawn, we transformed this space with many layers of colors and textures, using a wide variety of trees, shrubs, perennials, grasses and groundcovers. Featuring mostly native plants that thrive in our unique climate, and this landscape does a great job at managing the storm water runoff in the landscape! An overall magical garden ✨️

Replacing a lawn with a beautiful native gardens is certainly possible!

We love working with our clients to create their dream landscapes! It all starts with a design, having the full scope and unique ideas organized within a master plan including patios, walkways, retaining walls, fountains, pergolas and of course - gardens and plants! Creating a special design including all your favorite garden features.

We take into account each unique feature of a landscape including light, shade, soil types, water runoff and more. We specialize in creating storm water management gardens, using native plants, swales and more to properly manage the water in your gardens.

These are a sample of the beautiful designs we have created for our local clients, many of which we have completed the installations for!
