Managing a rental property is not for the faint of heart! 😅
What you don’t always see are the moments in between tenants or the things that can go wrong when you least expect them...
A tenant moves out & suddenly you’re dealing with: 🔨 Walls that need patching & repainting
🚽 Toilets, faucets & plumbing that need repair
🧹 Deep cleaning from top to bottom
🪟 Broken blinds that need replacing
🛠️ Damage to floors
💡 Light fixtures that need new bulbs & outlets not working
🌿 Landscaping & exterior maintenance
…and sometimes repairs you never even knew were possible!
Then comes the race to get everything repaired, cleaned, inspected & back in shape before the next tenant moves in.
And being a property manager means managing it all!!! Not to mention answering calls when something breaks, coordinating contractors & and screening applicants...and often putting a lot more time into a property than anyone on the outside realizes!
It’s definitely work, responsibility & a whole lot of “you’ve got to be kidding me” moments. 😂
The goal is always the same: leave it better than you found it & create a safe, clean, well-maintained place for the next person to call home 🤎
I have 1 more 1/2 day of work here, but hoping to have new tenants in by 10/1!🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
