Pulled off a double today, and added a new notch to the belt of equipment that I have had experience with. This customer has been dealing with a auto shutdown issue on his house mover for months! It's a deutz powered unit so he was gracious enough to acquire the software and diagnostic adaptor. Turned out to be a faulty engine controller ground driver. Luckily the system allowed me to just create a new dedicated ground instead! SO P.S.A.- IF YOU HAVE OR KNOW ANYONE WHO HAS ANYTHING WITH A DUETZ ENGINE THAT HAS DIAGNOSTIC FAULTS SEND EM OUR WAY!! Thank you Lord!!!

Another one back to work! Customers D5k had hystat issues, they ordered and installed aftermarket speed sensors. We were thinking a quick calibration and they would be back to work. Unfortunately it typically doesn't work out as we intend. One of the aftermarket sensors was faulty out of the box so a oem sensor was install and calibration was started. About 3/4 through it was aborted due to a parking bark solenoid failure. Luckily one was locally in stock and acquired. Once this was install the calibration was successfully completed and the unit was returned to service! Thank you God for another day!!

As much as I dislike going behind others work it is truly gratifying when it's behind my previous employer. Said employer's tech basically threw a bunch of parts and labor at this one and then threw in the towel. The issue was over heating under heavy load. Knowing that they replaced everything on the engine side. This only left a couple of options. Since I would have to gain access to the radiator core by lifting the fan/hydraulic motor assembly it was a easy decision to check fan speed first. It was clear that the monitor and my tachometer were not getting the same reading, also it was not able to be programmed to full fan speed mode. The pressure for the motor circuit was within specs so it pointed to a fan motor speed or flow issue. This all made sense after listening to and recreating the customer's complaints. The customer found a good used motor and as you may see in the pictures the speed sensor ring on the fan was definitely being impeded by mud. The machine was tested after trying to clean out the sensor ring and it performed better but was definitely still struggling to get up to speed. The used motor was installed and the temp will stay right where it's supposed to now. So after over a year the customer is finally able to use his high dollar toy for a full day without stopping every 30 minutes! Thank you Lord for working through me to help others in my life!

We got another local customer back up and running this week after his hystat flex coupling bit the dust.... never ceases to amaze me how the big brands literally design their equipment to fail. I guess it's what they call job security though so I ain't complaining! As always we are honored to be able to support our customers and pray that God continues to allow us to serve!

We had to get the Jones County boys back up and running this week! Their 320 HEX went into operator inducement (derate) due to a faulty DEF injector and it also somehow damaged the harness connector. Both items were replaced. The aftertreatment recovery procedure was preformed and new flash files were installed by using CAT ET. It feels good to support the local community and I pray that we can serve at in our area! We truly appreciate the opportunity!

New customer with big problems! Not gonna put any dirt out there but said customer had two other individuals work on his skid steer, supposedly throw lots of parts at it , and then ghosted his phone calls for several weeks! We were recommended for the job and I pray that the Lord will provide us with the knowledge to get this individual back running. So far everything that was done previously was wrong and due to the use of starting fluid the customer now has a thrashed cylinder head. We are awaiting parts and hopefully we will be returning this unit back to service soon!

Busy couple of weeks, Thank you Lord! I pray that we can continue to provide quality service for our area.
We are in the middle of a final drive replacement and a HST flex coupling replacement. Also we had a couple of A/C repairs and with the heat its always nice to make sure everything is working properly!

Gotta keep them chickens 🐔 alive during these hard times. Customer stated his emergency generator would not cycle. During initial inspection some wiring jumped out but I was informed of a recent service performed by another company that sent me down the wrong rabbit trail to begin with. Good news was that it wasn't totally waste because we replaced the seals on the fuel lines which were well past due changing. Once I killed that rabbit I jumped back to my original trail which lead to the cause. It ended up being another loose connection at the speed controller. Just for good measure a shady splice that had been made ages ago in the timing probe harness was repaired with a water tight deutsch connector. The unit was then put through her paces to verify proper cycling and load carrying!

This was a first in my experience around Komatsu. The customer called and requested that I remove his engine due to it slinging a rod out the side of the block. I have seen this with several other brands but like I said this was new for me to see in the smaller Komatsu engines. Nevertheless we got the powertrain package removed and are on standby until a engine can be located.
