Hey look, I finally figured out where this tall, slender vintage shelf from House Wins finally found a home in the Shop. I bought it years ago and it’s just been sitting in storage, waiting for the right moment, the right opening, the right space.

As holiday goods continue to arrive things will continue to shift, and I’m so freakin’ excited. (Swipe for a preview…)

Anyway notable restock of simple-care, easy-to-grow, solid, solid plants, now arriving. ✨

Moments of magic from today. Moments of connection, memory making, intention, and beauty.

And absolutely perfect weather.

Happy No Kings Day! Vote early. It’s a beautiful day for a protest. Make your voice heard.

Stop by the Shop for a healthy dose of joy, rest, solidarity, and community this weekend.

Today’s counter collections are a love letter to the people who wrote back to my email yesterday telling me to keep politics out of business. (Uhm, too late, no going back now…)

Just remember: joy, laughter, love, community, connection, and rest are all active forms of resistance and they matter.

Take care of yourselves. Take care of one another.

Let’s outshine ✨

So there’s a No Kings rally tomorrow, and folks are gathering in Leeper Park just a few blocks away. I thought it might be fun to add our own spice to the demonstrations, so either before or after the rally, stop by for a chance to win one of these big, gorgeous, stunning plants.

And, while you’re here, explore the many restocks and new goods that have been hitting the shelves throughout the week. From soup and scone mixes to paper star lanterns and tap water conditioner, the shelves are filling up.

How will the giveaway work?
* No purchase necessary: one entry per guest.
* Show an I Voted sticker or photos/swag from the protest OR spend at least $10 in the shop and get a second, bonus entry.
* Entries accepted Saturday and Sunday only this weekend. Winners will be selected on Monday and notified via email. You’ll have five days to come pickup your new plant before we select a new winner.

Seeya soon, folks. Be strong and of good courage 💪❤️✨.

In the business of independent shops like ours, the holidays are a high point of our year, a make-or-break season. We devote months of planning, dreaming, and hard work to bring it to life each year.

We also happen to be living in a time when connecting, creating, and community matter more than ever. These broad themes have shaped the dream of the season to come. They are what I hope Botany can manifest and continue to make real in the months ahead through the goods we share, the spaces we create, and the invitations we offer up.

Today, the season begins for us as I officially share this year’s offerings for holiday gatherings.

The books are open, tickets available, and all reservations can be made right through our website.

I’m so excited to welcome you this year, and soon!
