General Shale Iron Works split brick in a classic herringbone pattern—easily one of our most requested kitchen features! Laid over a prepped subfloor, grouted with custom ivory cement and sand, and sealed with a durable matte finish. Seeing it on your feed is great, but walking on it in your own kitchen is a game-changer.

If you saw our Reel earlier this week, you know our big rule for kitchen remodels: you don’t always have to gut the whole space to get a brand-new look!

Swipe through to see the before, during, and after photos of this Spanish Fort refresh.

By keeping the existing cabinet structure, we were able to completely transform the kitchen by:
• Replacing drawer fronts & cabinet doors with custom Shaker styles
• Painting the existing boxes to match seamlessly
• Swapping out the old stainless hood for a custom white wood hood
• Cutting the hop up bar down to single-counter height
• Upgrading to clean quartz countertops & new tile backsplash

Preserving your layout saves time and budget while delivering a stunning result.

You don’t always have to gut your kitchen to give it a completely new life!

Check out this transformation in Stillwater subdivision in Spanish Fort, AL:

We kept the original cabinet boxes and layout, but swapped in custom Shaker doors and drawer fronts, brand-new quartz countertops, a fresh tile backsplash, new appliances, fixtures, handles and a custom white wood hood (goodbye, old stainless steel!). We even lowered the old hop up bar to a modern single-height counter!

If you like your current layout, let’s talk about a refresh instead of a full tear-out.

Call us today to book your spot on our schedule!

Go big or go home!

By far the largest shower we’ve completed to date—and our biggest glass enclosure installation yet!

We tied this massive space together with Delta Ch*****ne Bronze hardware, perfectly color-matched all the way down to the glass hinges, header, and door handles. Big space, bold details, and seamless design.

Thinking about upgrading your bathroom? Let MAKO Services bring your dream space to life.

Turning the homeowner’s vision into reality! 🛠️✨

Every kitchen has that one wall or corner that feels underutilized. For this project in downtown Daphne, our client wanted to turn what used to be empty wall space into a gorgeous, highly functional feature area.

As the contractor on this project, our team managed the entire renovation process to bring all the pieces together—from updating the layout to coordinating the installation of these custom floor-to-ceiling cabinets, the built-in beverage cooler, and that cozy window bench seating.

Got big ideas for your own kitchen? We’re here to help manage your remodel from demo to final details!

Sometimes, this job brings people into our lives who leave a lasting footprint. Over the winter, we had the privilege of working with a truly wonderful client. She was 79, incredibly active, fiercely independent, and just a joy to be around.

We recently learned that she suddenly passed away. It has been a heavy reminder of how quickly things can change, and just how precious and short this life is.

We are so incredibly grateful we got to cross paths with her, share some laughs, and bring a little extra comfort to her and her home. Rest in peace.
