Here's a repair that we did in the last couple of weeks. Improperly installed j channel above the garage door let water in behind the siding and rotted out the door header. We had to peel back some siding and then cut out the existing door header and replaced with a new one. Properly installed drip cap and LP trim, will make sure this doesn't happen again. Here's our latest deck project. We tore out the concrete steps, cut the concrete to put our diamond piers in. A first for me was the ramp. We used Deckorator composite decking and Westbury aluminum railing in this build. If you are looking at a fall or winter project please reach out.

Here are some pictures from my latest deck project. I used diamond piers for footings for the first time on this deck, definitely will be using them again. A little tricky with it being 8 ft in the air but nothing we couldn't handle. We ran into a problem with setbacks but ended up with a better product as it is a freestanding deck not attached to the house. It was truly a pleasure to meet Audrey and Jim. Thank you, Amy Allison Lloyd for all your help in getting this project started. I would also like to thank Tilli Culpitt for the referral. If you have an idea for a project, please reach out. Are you doing a project that you need material disposal? Are you purging your house? Are you cleaning out your garage? I have a solution. I have decided to start renting out my dump trailer for the weekend or a couple days at a time. It would be equivalent to an 8-yard dumpster but it's on wheels. For instance, I would drop it off on Friday afternoon and pick it up on Monday morning. I can't take paint, hazardous materials, or electronics at this point. Starting at $300. This week, I undertook a deck project that evolved into a series of additional tasks for the homeowner. I successfully replaced the garage service door and the door handle connecting to the house. The soffit over the garage door required repair due to wind damage, and I also installed new brackets on the other garage door to facilitate proper closure. I appreciate the opportunity to work with Eileen and Dick and look forward to future collaborations. In retrospect, I recognize the importance of capturing progress photos.
