This deck came with its challenges, working around the recessed swim spa we then added the custom black stainless cable railing and deck. We built this one, so the owners get the clean look and take care of maintenance through the easy access door panel.

🏔️ Lakefront Remodel — Coeur d'Alene, ID

This Coeur d'Alene Lake remodel gave the homeowners a brand-new deck — built with a full waterproofing system so the basement below stays dry and livable year-round, not just in the dry months.

A few details we're proud of:

🌧️ Waterproof deck system — keeps the space below fully usable in every season
🪨 Hidden drainage — downspouts run invisibly through the stone pillars and straight into underground drainage, so there's zero visual clutter
🪵 Engineered cedar soffit — warm, durable ceiling detail that ties the whole outdoor living space together
🖤 Bronze smoked glass railing — modern, low-profile, and keeps the lake view completely unobstructed

Just when you thought this build couldn't get any better... we added backlit soffits for that perfect ambient glow. The little details make all the difference. ✨🏗️

🔥 Another outdoor kitchen in the books! 🔥
This one combined block construction with sleek cabinet inserts for a durable, low-maintenance build. The centerpiece? A wood-fired pizza oven that takes this space from "backyard grill setup" to full-on destination.
Our favorite detail: the homeowner had a reconditioned ski swing sitting in her garage, and we turned it into the perfect spot to relax while waiting your turn on the putting green ⛳
Finished it all off with an upgraded fence and gate to tie the whole corner together.

After working with two previous contractors and still not finding the right fit, this homeowner turned to Mountainview Contractors — and we delivered. We transformed his backyard into the ultimate outdoor entertaining space, complete with a full outdoor kitchen, bar seating adjacent to the hot tub, and an outdoor-rated swivel TV. Whether you're in the pool, soaking in the hot tub, or manning the grill — you won't miss a moment. This is outdoor living done right.

Just completed a custom pergola for a client on the golf course! They needed relief from both the sun and stray golf balls (look closely at the house, to the left of the door and window), so we designed it with a powered sunshade system for maximum protection and convenience. (Pictures of sunshade to come upon installation) The knee braces feature some interesting architectural detail that really makes this structure stand out. Sometimes the best projects come from solving unique challenges!

What a fun kitchen! This homeowner does most of her cooking outdoors, so we made sure she had everything she needs. We installed a grill, Blackstone griddle, standalone smoker, and a Schwank infrared grill perfect for searing steaks. This space included an abundance of storage too!!

We also replaced three deteriorated posts with wraps and installed true 8x8 timber posts for a solid, clean look. Updated lighting, added a couple of fans, and wired for three outdoor heaters (currently on backorder, but ready to go once they arrive).
This space is ready for year-round outdoor cooking!
