This evening we had the pleasure or rescuing Lucy. Poor baby was stuck up there for 4 days. She definitely had no urge to come down and was extremely happy to be rescued.

It’s not just cutting a limb it’s knowing how to bring it down safely.

Proper cuts, controlled limb removal, and safe rigging all play a huge role in protecting the tree, the property, and the people on the ground. Every cut has a purpose, and every limb needs a plan. 🪢

At Rose’s Tree Care, we believe in doing the job right, not just getting it done. Family-owned, hands-on, and safety-minded.

🌳 Tree ID: It’s More Than Just the Leaves!
Did you know you can identify a tree even after the leaves are gone? 👀
When identifying trees, look at:
🌿 Twigs – Check whether branches are opposite, alternate, or whorled. Look at color, texture, lenticels, and the inside of the twig (the pith).
🌱 Buds – Notice their size, shape, color, and whether they’re scaly or smooth. Look at where they sit on the twig, too!
🌸 Flowers – Color, shape, size, and whether the tree has male, female, or both types of flowers can be clues.
🍎 Fruit & Seeds – Their shape, structure, and how they’re distributed can help narrow down the species.
🌲 Cones – For conifers, cone size, shape, color, texture, and even whether the scales have little spines can tell you a lot.
🪵 Wood – Sometimes the wood itself gives clues through its color, texture, smell, taste, and structure.
So next time you’re looking at a tree, don’t just look up! Look at the whole tree. 🌳🔎
