Why you should consider not using a Franchise.
Many of the Painting companies that come up first when you are looking are actually Franchises. Companies like:
Fresh Coat
CertaPro Painters
Five Star Painting
360 Painting
Color World Housepainting
Wow 1 Day Painting
America's Color Consultants
Klappenberger & Son
Lime Painting
Painter1
Protect Painters
Southern Painting
The main two concerns we highlight are:
Cost - 6-12% of the project cost goes directly to mandatory royalty and advertising fees, and many times those fees are paid to companies out of state.
Restricted Territory - Franchises have to focus on making the most money they can with each project because their territory is restricted, which in turn limits the opportunities they have to bring in revenue.
Do you know what TWO HUGE REASONS our customers give us as to why they want to make sure the paint, or “coatings”, on their home are always in the best shape?
#1 APPEARANCE:
When someone pulls into the driveway and sees your home, do you know what first meets their eyes? It’s the paint on the outside of the home covering the siding, soffits, windows, doors, and trim work. As soon as that visitor enters your home, the walls, trim, and other surfaces are also covered in interior paint. It’s the first thing they see inside your home! What if that paint looks scuffed, dingy, or worse yet is chalky and flaking? That’s a concern for most homeowners who want their home to feel pleasant, organized, and contemporary – not dated and dirty! A new coat of paint can make your home look brand new, in-style, and up-to-date. It can also make you feel better about the overall appearance of your home day after day.
#2 PROTECTION:
Most people pay a lot of money for their homes. The exterior of the home takes a beating year after year from wind, rain, sun, debris, and general wear and tear. Once the “skin” of the home starts to flake or fade, that means the “body” (your siding, trim, windows, decking, and doors) are no longer protected. This can cause warping, rusting, buckling, and other types of water damage. Let’s Be Honest with Each Other for a Moment: You May Not Have Called a Painter Yet Because Our Profession has a “Less Than Professional” Image! Most painters do not answer their phones, do not show up on time, and will hire just about anyone. We’re different.
Our Painters are Professional, Courteous, and Trained to follow our Proven Processes. We continually seek out industry-recognized certifications and designations to add to our customer’s peace of mind. We invest in continuing education with industry-leading organizations such as the Painting Contractors Association (PCA), the Academy of Professional Painting Contractors APPC, American Painting Contractor (APC) and have preferred relationships with painting manufacturers such as Sherwin-Williams.
We will never send anyone to your home that we would not send to our family member’s homes. Our Painters are Background Checked, Professional, Experienced, and Trained to follow our Proven Processes to ensure 100% Satisfaction.
As Professional Painters, we specialize in Interior Painting, Exterior Painting, Pressure Washing, and other related home improvement projects.
