WE DID IT AGAIN! 🏆

We're excited to share that Western Mass Home Services has been voted a 2026 Nextdoor Neighborhood Fave in both of our nominated categories:

🔨 General Contractor And Professional Handyman.

This marks our THIRD year receiving a Nextdoor Fave Award (2023, 2024, and 2026)!

As a small, locally owned business, there's something especially rewarding about being recognized by the very people and communities we serve.

We take a lot of pride in the work we do, whether it's a small repair or a larger home improvement project. Knowing that our customers appreciate our work enough to recommend us to their friends and neighbors means more than any advertisement ever could.

To everyone who voted, recommended our services, left a review, or simply trusted us with a project in your home, THANK YOU!

We are incredibly grateful.

Here's to another year of helping our neighbors throughout Greater Springfield, one project at a time!

Transformation Tuesday ⚒️

These soon-to-be new parents wanted to add a dishwasher before baby arrives — but the original kitchen layout didn’t leave a space for one.

After looking at all the options, the best solution was to remove the old lower built-in cabinets and install new ones, including a custom end cabinet to make up for the lost space. The cabinets were stained to match, and we reused the existing hardware so everything blends seamlessly.

Now they have a fully functional dishwasher, upgraded counters, and a clean finished look — like it’s always been there. Exactly the outcome we were aiming for.

Today we proudly dropped off over 170 lbs. of non-perishable food to Lorraine’s Soup Kitchen & Pantry — all collected through the generosity of our customers, friends, and neighbors. Your kindness directly supports families in our community, and we couldn’t be more grateful.

Fixed It Friday! ⚒️
These old stairs were starting to look and feel straight out of a Horror Movie—unsafe, creaking, and ready to give anyone a scare. 👻

With the holidays approaching, it was the perfect time to replace them with something solid, safe, and built to last.

Now this home is ready for trick-or-treaters, guests, and plenty of holiday gatherings—without any scary surprises. 😱
