I am SO ridiculously excited about this one, friends!!! 😍💚

Some of the coolest, quirkiest, most unusual little cactus friends are officially heading to The GROW Table ALL THE WAY FROM CALIFORNIA! 🌵☀️

Please watch this massive transformation… time and patience does wonders with plants! Meet🌱💚 NELLE AURELIA EVERGREEN. 👑

Formerly known as Nelle the Nub.

Six years ago, this rare variegated ZZ was imported for $100 a stem 🫪🤪… she lost every single leaf. All that remained was a nub.

But she wasn’t dead.
And I refused to give up on her.

For years, I gave her light, water, love, and patience. And for years, absolutely nothing happened.

Until it did.
LOOK AT HER NOW!!!! 😭💚

Beautiful variegated arms reaching in every direction, with another perfect little one unfurling.

And here’s the lesson.

Not everything that’s alive is visibly growing.

I’ve spent the last three or four years fighting to heal, rebuild, and find pieces of myself I thought I’d lost forever.

Some days, I felt just like Nelle.

A nub.

But I wasn’t dead either.

I was still here. Still trying. Still doing the best I could with what I had.

Sometimes growth isn’t about producing beautiful new leaves. Sometimes it’s surviving long enough to have another chance to flourish.

And maybe, just maybe, I’m finally getting there, too.

You cannot force a plant to grow before it’s ready. And you cannot force yourself to heal on someone else’s timeline.

So here’s to the little nubs who haven’t given up.

Here’s to patience, perseverance, and all the beautiful things happening beneath the surface.

🌿💚🤎 Meet the fabulous Pellionia repens!

These fast-growing little friends have the prettiest bronze-brown and green foliage! Their unique coloring and trailing growth make them SO much fun to style!

Perfect for terrariums, bubble bowls, spooky skeleton planters, and all kinds of creative little plant homes! 💀🫧🌱

I have LOTS of these beauties available, and they’re especially happy in humid terrarium environments!

🌿 A little plant care love:

💧 Water: Keep soil lightly and consistently moist, but never soggy! Don’t let these friends completely dry out.

💚 Humidity: They LOVE high humidity! Terrariums are ideal, but if you’re growing yours in an open planter, you’ll want to pay extra attention to humidity and moisture. Dry air can cause crispy leaves!

☀️ Lighting: Bright, indirect light is best! Avoid harsh direct sunlight.

🌡️ Temperature: Keep them warm and away from cold drafts.

✂️ Growth: These are fast-growing, creeping beauties! Trim them to encourage fuller growth or let them trail!

A special note for my non-terrarium friends: Your Pellionia may need a little extra TLC! Check soil moisture regularly and consider a humidifier or a naturally humid location.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate this pretty little PINK baby leaf unfurling on my Philodendron tortum?! 🥹🩷🌿

One of the things I love most about plants is watching their new growth emerge! And this little beauty is showing off!

With her uniquely delicate, almost skeletal foliage and that precious pop of pink, she’s truly a work of art!

And can we talk about her gorgeous, upcycled, paint-poured pot?! 🎨💚 Two beautiful works of art in one!

Sometimes it really is the little things that bring the most joy! 🌱

🐉💚 DRAGON SCALES ARE HEREEEEE! 💚🐉

And they are WAY too pretty not to show off next to their gorgeous Polly friends!!! 😍🌿

These Alocasias are seriously little works of art! Just LOOK at those leaves! The Dragon Scale has incredible texture and deep, dramatic veins, while Polly brings those gorgeous glossy, arrow-shaped leaves with striking contrast!

🌿 FUN FACT: Alocasia Dragon Scale (Alocasia baginda) is native to Borneo, where it grows in tropical rainforest environments! Its thick, textured foliage resembles actual dragon scales! 🐉

And our beautiful Alocasia Polly? She’s a cultivated hybrid, known for her dramatic, almost prehistoric appearance!
