A horror movie is a lot more effective when you can hear the footsteps behind you. 👀

Suleiman joined the Sight & Sound team in 2021 as a Lead Technician before moving into sales in 2024, bringing real hands-on experience into every client conversation.

He’s passionate about sound, thoughtful design, and helping people get more out of their homes. Outside of work, he’s into Formula 1, polo, go-karting, swimming, and ambitious home projects.

Streaming compresses your movies, Kaleidescape doesn’t.

Unfortunately, it’s that time of year when 6 PM somehow feels like 9 PM.

And when the lights come on inside, your windows suddenly feel a lot less private.

Motorized shades can lower automatically as the sun goes down, so you’re not doing a full lap around the house every evening closing everything yourself. You can set them to follow a schedule, tie them into lighting scenes, or adjust them from your phone when needed.

Heads up for anyone with an older Control4 system. 👋

Cloud services for OS2 are shutting down by the end of 2026, which means remote access, integrations, and updates stop working on those systems when the deadline hits.

That means upgrading to X4 is the smarter move if you want a better interface, more personalization, and Apple HomeKit integration. And in our opinion, it’s a worthwhile upgrade beyond just keeping things running.
