If this powder room could talk, it would say, āI know, I know. You came in here to take care of business. But that doesnāt mean I canāt make your day a little better while youāre here with my stunning good looks and killer personality.ā š
Oh, and also āI was just born!ā because before the reno, this bathroom didnāt even exist. First order of business for reno was reworking the floor plan to improve the houseās overall flow, make room for a bigger, better kitchen, and create a new mudroom. That meant relocating the bathroom to the end of the hall, and saying see ya to the tub and shower. (Donāt worry, thereās still plenty of tubs and showers in this home š)
The goal for this new space? Create something playful and charming that felt like it was always a part of this 1948 Cape Cod home.
Vertical wall paneling, a vintage-inspired console sink and sconce, and classic 4x4 floor tile feel rooted in the houseās history. And the bold pomegranate wallpaper, funky squiggly wood mirror, and deep, saturated blue on the vertical paneling add plenty of personality.
Stay tuned cause this house still has a lot more to say!
