October's schedule. We are changing our days and times for Sew Much Fun Workshops to Thursday mornings 9-11am. These are free workshops.
There may be different workshops added throughout the month. If you are interested in basket weaving, pottery, medicinal plants, sewing give me a shout and we will work on scheduling days and times.

The outfit was brought in as a dress and my friend wanted in turned into separate top and skirt. She can wear the skirt long or short. Added a crocheted trim to finish out the bottom. Going to make a trip to Walmart for more trim for the sleeves and skirt.

A dear friend has a special occasion coming up and had purchased the dress on the right. She is a danty cute thing, a great grandma, wears a back brace, and is much more modest. She came with a plan for me to fix this dress. We had some work to do. Had to cut off about 6" of length, add about the same to the midsection in width to make room for the brace, and add a patch for the top. She tried it on today and it fits!! We may get a picture next month when she returns. Now onto the next project!

We dyed fabric for the quilt backing(and other fabrics with the extra dye) this morning. Hoping to get the quilt on the frame in the next week or 2. We have a little more to do. Then onto the actual hand quilting. If you want to add quilting bee to your repertoire of skills, send me a message to schedule days and times that best work for you or join us starting next Wednesdays 5-7pm.

Is there anyone interested in learning about seed saving or canning tomatoes anytime over the next month or so? This is the year of bountiful giant tomatoes.... and sunflowers! You are welcome to message me for 1 on 1 or small group workshops. Free, of course. If you want to bring your own jars/rings/lids, I will share my harvest or just come to learn.
