Gosh, summer has come to an end, fall has kicked in with the leaves dropping 🍁, the acorns all over the streets and temperatures dropping some but still enjoying beautiful days! ☀️
The last several months have been a blur but one thing I wanted to share with you is a very important person in my life got married 💍 👰♀️ 🤵♂️!
My best friends youngest daughter got married in September! It was a simple, out in the woods ceremony with just family and close friends.
And I was honored to be asked to create florals for the wedding party ❣️❤️❣️
This isn’t something I take lightly. When asked to make the bouquets, corsages and wristlets, I wanted to make sure it was going to be perfect for Shawna McCullough (Lindemann). I wanted her to feel like she had picked the perfect colors, flowers, and look for her special day!
Creating florals for a wedding isn’t easy or quick!! Takes a lot of time to think through the brides bouquet, how the bridesmaids bouquets will be similar but be unique.
I tried to incorporate the style of flowers Shawna wanted into them (rustic but elegant). I also was so excited to add flowers & 🦌 antlers to the arch!! That was so fun!!
With all that said, I always will be critical
of my work, but think they turned out gorgeous for the bridal party and fit perfectly into this simple, lovely day.
Here are some of the pictures that I get to show you and hope you will enjoy!
I am still a little bit choked up looking at the pictures of this beautiful woman that was a tiny little girl I used to babysit 🩷
Love you Shawna…..I hope your day was incredible and loved the florals as much as I did! 🤗
