If you could redesign one opening in your house, which would you choose?

Would you:

Turn several small windows into one large picture window?
Replace a sliding door with French doors?
Add a larger patio door?
Change white frames to black?
Add privacy glass to a bathroom?

Post a photo of the opening if you want ideas from our team.

What do you hear most clearly through your windows?

Traffic? Dogs? Neighbors? Wind? The mysterious truck that apparently reverses for 45 straight minutes?

Glass thickness, insulated glass construction, frame sealing, and installation quality can all affect sound transmission. Energy-efficient does not automatically mean soundproof.

Would you rather preserve the existing stucco or completely remove the old window frame?

A retrofit installation generally creates less disruption. A full tear-out provides greater access to the original opening but may require stucco, drywall, texture, and paint repairs.

Neither method is automatically right for every house. The condition of the opening should drive the decision.

Do you know which method was proposed for your home?

Two window quotes can show the same number of windows and still cover very different projects.

Before comparing the totals, compare:

~Glass package
~Frame construction
~Installation method
~Stucco and drywall work
~Painting
~Tempered glass
~Disposal
~Warranty coverage
~Permit responsibility

Black windows look incredible, but not every black window is built the same.

Arizona heat puts dark colored frames through serious thermal stress. The extrusion, reinforcement, formulation, manufacturing method, and warranty all matter, not just the color shown in the brochure.

Would you choose black windows for your home, or keep them white/tan?
