We specialize in custom window coverings, custom drapery, upholstery, wallpaper, adjustable window screens, exterior solar screens, floor coverings, countertops, and replacement windows. We also provide decorating services for both homeowners and builders. Laminate vs LVP. Same look, very different performance. Here's what actually separates them. 🤔

🪵 Laminate has a wood composite core. It looks beautiful and is budget-friendly, but it is NOT waterproof. Standing water can cause it to swell and warp.

💧 LVP is 100% vinyl all the way through, making it completely waterproof and a better fit for kitchens, bathrooms, and basements.

🦶 Feel: LVP is slightly softer and quieter underfoot. Laminate can sound hollow without quality underlayment.

Neither is the wrong choice. It just depends on the room and how your household lives.
