A lot of times your garden will tell you what you need but you have to be listening.

I was determined to grow in-ground. To a fault, honestly. But between my chronic kner pain, clay soil, and Bermuda grass that fought me every season... I finally had to listen. I'm adapting to what my garden (& my body) need using my new 15" Epic Bed. Knee pain doesn’t mean I have to give up on gardening, I’m just making it work for me.

I’m an affiliate for Epic Gardening. If you buy something using my affiliate link and code, you won’t pay a penny more - but I’ll earn a small commission. These help me continue creating awesome content! Use my code MOTHERROADRD for extra 5% off your new Epic Bed.

Spend more time digging in the garden, and less time deep through a laundry hamper.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, so I thought I'd share my baby brother, Nathanael.

He really was my baby brother being 13 years and 2 months my junior. He died just 40 days after his 19th birthday.

Sharing about Nathanael has gotten both easier and harder at the same time. Cancer unfortunately impacts so many children & their families.

There were so many organizations that mean so much to our family for making our journey with childhood cancer a little easier.

Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Houston
Cook Children's

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - Science and Medicine

While we didn't walk out of the hospital with my brother, we know that so much work has been done to help continue to fight childhood cancer.
