Mold and the bible???
As usual, I was researching Restoration work, historical relevance and founded interesting article!
The Bible doesn’t just mention mold—it actually describes a process for dealing with it in homes. Inspect it. Isolate it. Come back and inspect it again. Remove contaminated materials. If it keeps spreading, the house is considered unfit.
Whether you’re religious or not, I think that’s pretty fascinating. Thousands of years ago, people understood that what was growing inside a house could affect the people living in it.
After everything I’ve personally been through with mold, and after seeing what hidden moisture can do in homes through my work, it definitely made me stop and think.
It’s also a good reminder that a roof leak isn’t “just a roof leak.” Water has a way of getting into places you can’t see, and by the time mold becomes visible, it’s often been there longer than people realize.
Thought I’d share it because I found it interesting.
