🔨 Another Productive Week at AB Handyman Services

This week, we continued strengthening our structural repair by carefully cutting additional slots and installing additional support pins to reinforce the existing repair to provide greater long-term stability.

We also completed a thorough soft wash of a deck and surrounding surfaces, preparing the area for a deck staining project scheduled for next week. Proper preparation is a critical part of achieving a clean, durable, professional finish.

From structural repairs to detailed exterior preparation, we believe the quality of the finished project starts with the work that happens before the final coat.

🔨 Happy Saturday, everybody!

Another week in the books, and we’ve been putting in some serious work!

One of our biggest projects right now is a structural masonry repair that most people had already written off. We were told other contractors wanted the structure demolished and completely rebuilt.

We decided to take on the challenge instead.

After digging into the problem and working through the repairs, we’ve made major progress and are proving that sometimes you don’t have to tear everything down to make it right. By finding a practical repair solution, we’ve helped our customer save thousands of dollars while keeping the existing structure intact.

We also tackled a tricky exterior plumbing repair this week. This one required carefully removing tongue-and-groove boards to reach the plumbing, replacing the outside water spigot with a new fixed coupling, adding a new stout support strap to properly secure the plumbing, and then carefully installing everything back together.

No shortcuts. No unnecessary demolition. Just good problem-solving and solid workmanship.

That’s what we’re about here at AB Handyman Services — finding the right way to get the job done, even when the easy answer is to tear it all out.

It’s my first week back in operation after taking a short step away, and honestly, it feels so good to be back.

Before my brief departure, I was seriously considering closing the business and doing something completely different. But after this week, one thing has become very clear to me:

**This is my calling, and these are my people. We all need each other.**

It’s been a crazy busy first week back, and we’ve already gotten a lot done. We’re currently a little booked out, so I want to ask everyone for a little patience and understanding. We’re doing our best to get everyone taken care of and scheduled as soon as possible.

I’m incredibly grateful for the continued support from our existing clients, and I’m looking forward to meeting and serving many new ones as well.

This year, AB Handyman Services is going to continue to grow, improve, and expand. I’m excited for what’s ahead and thankful to have the opportunity to keep doing what I love for the people and communities around me.
