We went to Marceline, Missouri! This summer, we took a roadtrip and one of our stops was Walt Disney’s Boyhood Hometown. 🐭 🌳

We visited all the noteworthy places: the original Main Street USA, Walt Disney Hometown Museum, Walt Disney Municipal Park, Midget Autopia, and the Disney Family Farm Barn replica (and signed our names on in the interior). We also mailed post cards from the Walt Disney Post Office where they had a special cancellation stamp for mailing the postcards from there! ✉️

How nice and nostalgic it was to visit the place Walt grew up. There was so much history and storytelling. Walt gave so much back to Marceline and they’ve done a great job to keep the magic alive there.

For a meal while in Marceline, we highly recommend Marceline Pizza Company 🍕- it’s a delicious gem in town!

We stayed at the only campground in Marceline, Lodder Up & Camp, during our visit - it was very convenient and quick access to all Marceline has to offer. They had a playground for family, a couple of smokers and grills, public restrooms, laundry, and pretty reliable WiFi. 🏕️
