I have sooo enjoyed talking to people about their gardens, visiting gardens, planning and setting up gardens. I am heart learning what I head knew (know what I mean) and that is-- gardens aren't just a collection of vegetables and plants.
It's:
an infirmary of healing humus
and a family hub
a fresh start for the hopeful
time with ones you love
A hint of hope in seed form
welcome deviations from the norm
dew kissed coffee in the morning
life lessons worth learning
A when SHTF safety net
a second chance for those who haven't given up yet
heirloom in memoriams
the rebirth that is Spring
a cultivated composition
and the joy it brings
where to go when you loose yourself
subsistence for your health
a goldmine-- it is wealth
A soothing salve for the hardened
A sanctuary, may you too find God in the garden.
