JASON'S UPSCALE TILE

13/10/2026

This past weekend I was finally able to make it back to finish up this arabesque backsplash.

It took much more time than initially anticipated. But needless to say, I never rush quality on a project.

You'll see that I posted a screenshot of the wonderful review that my client left me. I haven't done this before and maybe I will start posting more of the reviews that my clients leave as they are a testament to my dedication to my clients and craft, and it feels very good that my hard work is appreciated!

Another completed project in the books!

There’s truly nothing better than handing over a finished space and seeing the clients absolutely over the moon with the results!

For this walk-in shower, we brought together warm beige wall tiles in a ⅓ offset pattern, a custom recessed niche with travertine brick-mosaic accents, double ch*****ne bronze shower and rain heads, and a natural stone chevron pattern hexagon floor mosaic with a matching ch*****ne bronze drain detail. 🔥

Seeing our clients so happy and grateful makes all the hard work worth it!

💬 What’s your favorite detail here—the custom floor pattern or the built-in niche? Let me know below!

Here's a video during the demo of a shower pan that shows what was done incorrectly from the beginning. I am no longer amazed at the things that I see or what people are willing to do.

This was going to be just a shower pan replacement but under further inspection the client and I decided it would be best to redo the entire shower so they are truly satisfied.

More updates to come!

A little late posting this one, but keeping job sites on track always comes ahead of managing the camera roll. 🛠️

A recent custom shower transformation featuring:

Large-format porcelain with continuous vein-matching

Deep blue accent bands framing the shower + herringbone floor pan

Custom built-in niche with an engineered sill

Hand-cut, mitred tile surround around the floor vent

When working with large-format tile and bold accent bands, the layout planning and waterproofing underneath matter just as much as the final wipe-down.

If you're planning a custom bathroom renovation this year and want the preparation and layout done right the first time, drop a comment below, send a message, or call 803-600-1984.

🌿 Fresh off the press! Take a look at this recently completed custom walk-in shower overhaul. 🚿✨

We love how this project came together! The deep sage green subway tile creates a rich, tranquil, spa-like vibe, perfectly balanced by the light pebble stone tile floor and clean white grout lines.

Key Features:
Dual Built-In Niches: Plenty of recessed storage space for a clutter-free look.

Corner Footrest / Bench: Added convenience without taking up valuable floor space.

Dual Fixture Setup: Prepped for a dual-showerhead experience.

Penny round Floor Finish: Non-slip, and incredibly soothing underfoot.

Whether you're looking to update a guest bath or create your dream master suite, custom tile work makes all the difference.
Thinking about upgrading your bathroom before the end of the year?

Just about got this one wrapped up. Still have to tile the wall behind the vanity and silicone the corners. Will be completed next week.

The next shower 3x4½. Just got it. Shimmed flat and ready for board!

This one started out as a two-wall shower and is getting an upgrade. Enlarge the shower 76" and the tile to 48x48.

These studs were so out of plane and no way could I install this large format tile without an absolutely flat wall. Got it nice and flat with BUILT with FOAM shims!
