Super thankful for the opportunity to hang out with some amazing women at serenity the brand | boutique clothing & jewelry this afternoon. From teaching a painting class, to calligraphy engraving and gold-foiling, this was a true blessing to my soul.

I got to meet Lindsey Boedicker last night at a church event, and just so happened she needed some extra help with her Pumpkins & Praise event today. Obviously I jumped at the chance to share my love of Jesus and watercolor.
We painted a pretty watercolor pumpkin, talked about Ecclesiastes 3, and personalized all the things!
Lauren and Eric Wiehe even brought some beautiful bouquets!

Let’s do it again, shall we?!

I truly can only process big things by painting. It’s a way for me to connect with the Lord and heal my heart through the talents He gave me.

I needed to paint her ring. As I look at its beauty, I can see the possible meaning behind the stones. 3 on each end to signify us 6 kids. The 2 larger stones representing each parent bringing their children into this blended family. And the one center stone signifying our new family, and how they became one in marriage.

I will likely paint this again sometime, but right now, I’m pleased with it. And my heart feels a little less raw since painting it. I have seen the goodness of God through her, and she would love this painting.
