Thanks to the new property tax law it is imperative that you check the Homestead Status for your primary residence before March 1. If you have not declared your Homestead your property tax bill will be charged at the new higher rate. You will need the Geocode for your property which is on your tax bill. It can also be found on the County Tax Search or Montana Cadastral.
