Find me blacksmithing at the Alamo this coming weekend, I will also be pulling some of the records I had for Mission day on my table as well. I will also be doing some copper and silverwork while I'm there, highlighting the trade of the time.

Don't miss Tejanos at the Alamo on October 18, 2025, which will feature local cultural organizations, descendants, living history, and more!

From early San Antonio settlers to 1836 Alamo Defenders and other notable figures such as Juan Seguin, Adina De Zavala, and more, Tejanos at the Alamo will highlight the many important Tejano figures who have made an impact on the Alamo and the larger San Antonio community.

Find me in Coventry Rhode Island Oct 25-26th at the General Nathanael Greene Homestead I'll be working the forge and I'll have a few things on my table as well. Also, for my Wampanoag, Narragansett, Mashantucket Pequot friends I'll have some pieces to wear at your next Powwow. Looking forward to seeing familiar faces and new folks as well.

I will be at the Alamo for a special program that will bring the Mission Era period to the public. As we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the San Antonio Missions being designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites, the and will be hosting events focusing on their history in a major way.

This event at the Alamo will have us Mission Indian Descendants part of the program, I will be working on trade silver, copper, and general forging using a forge built in the style of the early Mission Era. This has been a big project happening behind the scenes and with help from historical mission sites in California, New Mexico, Arizona, Mexico, and with the help of my friends from Colonial Williamsburg (reference materials, historical shipping manifest info and more).

I'm glad I will be able to do what I enjoy as a smith while also highlighting my Mission Indian ancestors who are listed at Mission San Antonio De Valero (the Alamo), Los Adaes, San Saba, and others. I will have plenty to display and talk about at my table at this event.

We'll be open to the public on the 31st, tools, material, and all kinds of stuff to check out. Food, metal, and demos. Come on down (insert the Price is Right theme song here)

I'm doing 2 events this Saturday back to back
In the morning and early afternoon, I will be demoing at the Alamo. If the rain comes down, I'll update what I'll be doing and where on site.

That evening, I'll be at next to San Antonio Museum of Art from 7pm to 11pm, I'll be set up at the front entrance, no blacksmithing demos, but I'll have a table set up and will probably be doing some silversmithing work at my booth.
