This project came up in my memories from 5 years ago and so I reached out to the client about how it’s holding up. She says it’s going strong and holding three quilts in their hallway 🥰That makes me so happy!

100% original piece of artwork -
“The Colonel”

Through a collaboration with my husband Adam, we created this piece I named
“The Colonel”

It’s based on my experiences with a Percheron/Andalusian draft horse named Colonel Jackson. I was lucky enough to spend better than 4 years of my life with him (and several others) and I hold those memories dear. Well, now he is immortalized on my wall in a custom frame made from reclaimed horse rails.
How appropriate.
Today I finally did a project for us.

If you have something you’d like to see come to fruition maybe another collaboration is on the horizon.

Please like and share to support local small businesses. Mayberry Wood Designs LLC is a female run, veteran family small business and we believe in quality over quantity, I believe that good old fashioned craftsmanship is art in its truest form.
