Hello, my name is Hannah Overfelt. You've stumbled across my page where I hope to provide an ever increasing variety of homemade and homegrown goods from my family to yours! My passion started after I was married to my amazing husband in 2018. He wanted me to be a stay at home mom as much as possible as he values my ability to provide affordable delicious meals, a clean and safe home and pursue ways to keep our budget within our means while setting us up well for the future. As anyone could imagine who knows me, I couldn't sit idly by and accept the basic lifestyle of making boring meal plans and the routine grocery runs each week to keep things humming. Instead I wanted to make as many high quality things for our home as I could, cut costs, and eat more delicious food than what I could acquire at our local markets. My journey began with my garden and the trials of learning how to grown each new fruit or vegetable in our unpredictable North Carolina climate. It soon progressed through the normal homesteading trends as I acquired chickens, expanded my meat rabbits, and then fell in love with beekeeping after my first class with our local club. Years down the road I can look back at my short journey with humility at the lessons I learn daily and thankfulness for the bountiful blessings from the Lord our Savior. He is the one who has truly been my guide to use my abilities to bless my husband but also those around me. I couldn't do any of this without His guidance and my husbands support. Naturally, as I wanted to begin a growing list of projects and expansions on our little 1 acre plot I sought out ways to bring in some extra income as our monthly budget plan was strictly off limits to fund my projects. I began selling handmade soaps and then progressed to sell my mothers crochet items that she has made to fit with the things I make/grow. This year, 2024, I have gotten my first honey crop and I am so happy to be sharing this with everyone I can. Their amazing little creatures and I am humbled to finally have a yield from their efforts. I am not the best at building a website or making a label but what I can offer is honest products that have a quality of the best we know how to make or grow. I love what I do and each order or sale whether here or at the local craft events humble me. I am honored to present to you the best of my blessings that overflow from our little home. I hope that you will enjoy what I can offer as much as we do!
