The time has come say goodbye to our beloved crib. I never thought I could be so attached to a piece of furniture, but this one hurt.

I’m sure you heard and tried it all- and the systems told you the same thing: hide it away. Bins with lids. Closed cabinets. A junk drawer for everything that didn’t have a home.

None of it stuck — because for a Visual Processor, memory runs through your eyes. If you can’t see something, it stops existing to you. That’s not a discipline problem. It’s how your brain files information.

The fix isn’t more bins. It’s storage you can see through: open shelving instead of closed cabinets, clear containers instead of opaque ones, and one visible landing zone by the door for anything you genuinely can’t afford to forget.

Visual Processors — is this you? 🙋. Don’t know? Comment “clutter” and I’ll send you the link to the free quiz

Where are my material girls at? 🙋‍♀️. You know who you are… always collecting things because you might use it someday. The uncanny ability to turn trash into treasure. Somehow accumulating clutter faster than you realize. Believe it or not, your clutter is trying to protect you.
The pile isn’t a moral failing. It’s data — about how your nervous system relates to objects. It’s a pattern. And once you know your pattern, you can design with it instead of fighting it.
There are five. Most people are a blend. Which ones are you?
