Growing up I had a passion for working with my hands and understanding how things worked. Throughout my teenage years, I spent lots of time taking apart electronics and enhancing engine performance. So when I started thinking of a career, a natural step was to pursue engineering. Working for a large company, I had the opportunity to design and build, but always with purpose of a specific customer and requirements. I was allowed to be creative, but only within a certain box. The ability to utilize my artistic side was not available. In time, I focused my effort on personal objectives, by building my first home and working on antique cars and hot rods. I’ve always had an appreciation for working with electrical components and now I have my sights set on the art of designing and restoring lighting. The idea for building lights came from my amazing wife, who recognized my imagination when discussing lights from empty bottles, old oil lamps and wagon wheels. Since starting Wolfe Innovations, I’ve really enjoyed hearing from other individuals who have found excitement and pleasure in the same types of creations as me, and those in adjacent business. One such person is my 86 year old father in-law, who has helped me make a few of the lights and taught me some of his woodworking skills. Wolfe Innovations offer high-quality products which range in style from Rustic to Industrial to Automotive. Just picture an automotive themed light in your shop. Or how does a rustic-themed chandelier sound for your wedding centerpiece? Of course the possibilities are endless, since I will work with customers to create a one of a kind design. If you already have that one of a kind piece, but it’s in need of a little TLC, contact us – we also do restoration. My shop is located in the heart of farm country, Canastota, NY. Everything that is created is either made in the USA or made with repurposed material. http://wolfeinnovations.com/
