Small changes, big difference. 🔨

Two recent cabinet modifications — proof you don't always need a full remodel:

🧺 LAUNDRY ROOM: We converted three drawers into two deeper drawers, giving each of the family's two kids their own dedicated storage for school items. The new drawers will hold modular dividers so each kid can organize their space their way.

🧊 BAR AREA: This cabinet houses an ice maker, and the original double doors just weren't cutting it anymore. We replaced them with a single panel and a properly placed handle for smooth, easy opening.

I help a lot of homeowners with water damage. Not only repairing the damage but finding the reason the damage occurred. In this project the damage though nearly invisible, was real. Due to inadequate flashing, the water flow was allowed behind the siding and flowed down the inside of this wall. A clean approach to your home is one of those maintenance items that’s easy to overlook.

Walkways, patios, porches, and other outdoor surfaces slowly collect years of dirt and organic growth. You may not notice the change day to day—but you definitely notice when they’re clean again.

Taking care of the smaller details makes your home feel more inviting when you pull into the driveway and more enjoyable while you’re there.

And usually, it’s not just the walkway.

There’s a door that needs adjusting. A piece of trim that needs attention. Some caulking that’s failing. A repair you’ve been meaning to get around to.

This week I had the opportunity to help with some home maintenance. The back post here was starting to separate. Luckily this was not a structural post but it was quite tall at almost 16’! I was able to get it taken care of to help keep this entrance grand for years to come.

This past week I had the opportunity to help a homeowner restore a storage shed that had seen decades of use. Rather than replace it, we focused on preserving its character so it would continue to match the rest of the property.

The project included rebuilding three exterior walls that had deteriorated from moisture and age, leaving the shed structurally sound, weather-resistant, and ready for many more years of service.

Not every project needs to be replaced—sometimes a thoughtful repair is the better investment.

We recently stopped by to visit some of our favorite repeat clients — and walking through the door reminded us exactly why we do what we do.
That primary bathroom we built out? They’ve made it theirs — warm brass fixtures glowing against that dramatic marble shower surround, a custom vanity with a makeup nook that’s both functional and beautiful. It looks like it belongs in a magazine, and honestly… it kind of does.
