Barrett Lizza Design

Barrett Lizza was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and so, the influence of the marvelous Cascadian land has trickled down into his designs.

With the Cascadian and vintage influence, this oddity shop contains a variety of special finds, artwork, and handmade furniture, in which some have been converted to utility appliances such as Bluetooth speakers, lamps, electrical outlet furniture, etc. As an entrepreneur, he continues aspiring to create and invent with the intent to better the Bellingham/Fairhaven community and the entire world. Over years of experience as an artist and a musician, he has developed his skills for creating designs and functional art which are displayed in his oddity shop in the Downtown Historic District of Fairhaven. His design and building experience includes: The Emerald Cup (2018), Travis Scott - Astroworld Tour, Phish Magnaball (2015), Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, Madonna venues, Beyonce venues, the 2015 Super Bowl and more around the US. Locally, he has worked with restaurants and home-owners to design and build original living and dining spaces. Barrett Lizza is ready to offer his community and the Pacific Northwest the amazing world of event creativity, so please do not hesitate to contact him at [email protected] or at (360) 410-6085 to discuss any projects you or your firm would like to get started!

Local art is taking over a temporary space in the heart of Bellingham.

Vacancy Art Gallery is bringing together work from local artists and giving the community a chance to step inside, meet the people behind the work and see what’s being created locally.

Video recorded by Bellingham Metro News’ Volunteer Noah Williamson.

BMN Volunteer/Contributor Noah Williamson stopped by B.L.D. in Fairhaven for Cool Places in Bellingham.

The shop has a little bit of everything, including a room full of VHS tapes, local art and plenty of things you probably won’t expect walking in.

Discussions included art, life and taking the chance to do what you actually want to do.
