A frequent question we get asked is, “How big can air plants get?!” Well…the answer is very dependent on the species! We grow some air plants, such as loliacea, that grow to be around 2 inches at their maximum size. Then we also grow air plants like rhodocephala (pictured) that can get well over 3 feet! The only way for you to know is to do some research before you purchase. The smaller varieties are great for those with limited space. The bigger ones do well in greenhouses or southern parts of the USA.
